Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel

While not much of a beer drinker, I do enjoy those hearty brews of the “dunkel” style. The Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel is my favorite so far. Here’s a look at the bottle:

I should have poured in into a glass, but tell the truth, I was guzzling this! It has a velvety feel and a hint of chocolate aftertaste. In other words, a mighty fine beverage, especially on a chilly fall afternoon. Fortunately, I have a store close to home that sells all manner of exotic beers, with knowledgeable people at the counter to help with making a selection. Bottoms up!

Fall Foliage Flying (2014)

Had the good fortune to catch the changing leaves from the air. Was around the Mount Pocono, PA, USA, area and snapped this photo of the Pocono Raceway:

Note those beautiful colors all around the track. Moving west, I snapped this shot of Beltsville Dam:

No doubt in the next week or so those leaves will be at peak colors. If you have the chance, take a fall foliage flight. It’s worth every penny to see things from way up there. Always do your checklist.

Koi on the Go, food truck

Koi On The Go is more compact than many food trucks I’ve seen lately. In fact, it’s a small trailer made of what looks like aluminum diamond plate. Here it is, parked at the Penns Woods Winery:

Not much room to work inside there, but the food was delicious. Let’s take a look at the menu.

We tried the Asian Sandwich and the Crab Cake Sandwich. Wow! Both of them delicious. Take a look:

Talk about tasty. That Asian Sandwich had the rich flavor of the pulled pork amped up with the bbq sauce. Yummy. I should have had another one! Anyway, it was all good. And the price was very fair given the high quality. Enjoy every meal!
