Catch a Wave.

Took this image with a Nikon F5, Nikkor 80-20mm 2.8D, and Kodak TriX400. Manhattan Beach, California, USA. These two were lucky to catch any waves. Was rather flat sea that day.

Meeting of the Minds

Captured this moment with my Nikon F5, Nikkor 80-200mm 2.8D, and Kodak TriX400 film. A couple of kids surfing at Manhattan Beach, California, USA. Part of a series I’ve been working on for a few years, one that documents the surf community between Ventura County Line and Newport Beach. Eventually, will put them together in a zine of some sort.

Flying for the Flag, released!

My documentary, FLYING FOR THE FLAG, has been released. You can watch it on Amazon, iTunes, and many other platforms. Here’s the poster:

Hop in the cockpit with the Bandit Flight Team, America’s most active formation team. You’ll see how they stay wingtip to wingtip as they over NASCAR races, military events, and other gatherings. Enjoy!

Medevac Mastery

Was interesting to see all the options for a medevac helicopter at the HeliExpo this week.

Not only was the equipment impressive, but the pilots, flight nurses, and medics all demonstrated an exceptional level of knowledge and capability. It’s good to know there are people and equipment at the ready in case of the worst. And it’s only getting better. It’s amazing what they can pack into a flying machine. Hopefully, I never need one.
