Looking for Fish

Here’s another image created with the Vermeer Pinhole Camera.

The exposure was 8 seconds, imprecisely timed. Came out with plenty of atmosphere and that distinct pinhole perspective. Looking forward to making many more images with this camera. It’s about as primitive as one can get with photography. Worth it, too.

Propeller Lift

Check out this photo of a crane lifting a ship’s propeller at the Aker Shipyard in Philadelphia, PA USA:

You can see the ship, nearly completed, in the background. In the foreground at the various winches that will be installed on deck. Looking forward to getting more great photos and video of these operations.

Tall Tugboat

Here’s a photo of a tugboat with a wheelhouse way up there.

Better to see over the top of big barge. But surely rocks and rolls if the weather is rough.

Bollard (Hasselblad SWC/M)

Testing out the Hasselblad SWC/M, I took the shot below.

As you can see, that 38mm biogon lens captures the whole scene. This was Kodak Tri-X and then scanned by the lab from the negative. All in all the SWC is working correctly. I tested it with a light meter and the bracketed the aperture and shutterspeeds with predictable results. Now it’s time to find some worthy subject matter.
