GoPro Video Review

The GoPro video camera has proved to be an excellent device for recording action footage. I bought it with relatively low expectations, but it has done a great job. Here’s my video review:

If you decide to use the GoPro to record your adventures, be sure to get the extra mounts. You’ll want to move it around on the vehicle, helmet, or craft of your choice and those adapters will come in handy. Other than that, you’re good to go.

Silence of… (video book review)

Here’s a brief video book review of Silence of the Grave, by Arnaldur Indridason. This is the second book in the series featuring Inspector Erlendur, who is a brooding, detached man working to solve crimes and hold on to his estranged family.

I’m going to read the next book in this series and report on it when complete.

Passenger View, video

The weather was just about perfect for flying yesterday, clear skies, light winds, and an airplane available. I mounted a small video camera on the right seat, for a view of the flight. The following video takes a look to the side and slightly forward from a Cessna 172 during take-off, a short cruise, and landing. Take a look:

More flying videos are on the way, weather and funds permitting. Next time I’ll position the camera straight ahead. Hopefully, it will be another smooth day or else the footage gets jostled about a bit too much. Either way, can’t get enough of this kind of footage. The little GoPro camera is not the most sophisticated, but it does the job. I wish I had three of them.

Jules Thin Crust has been mentioned before here at The Bent Page, and for good reason. The pizza is delicious. This time, I made a little video review. Check it out:

Now I’m hungry again, just watching the video to put this post together. As mentioned, fresh ingredients take the taste of this pizza to a new level. Stop in and enjoy!
