If you’re looking for a snack, Scott’s is a great place to stop in for bratwurst, Italian Sausage and many other favorites. Then, there’s the Bloody Mary bar where you can make your own exactly the way you like it. Plus, with a  view like that, you’re sure to enjoy. Don’t miss any meals and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Aruba, Climbing Casibari Rocks (2014)

Here’s a short video I made showing the actual climb up the Casibari Rocks. It’s worth the effort for the view.

After a climb up there, stop at the snack bar below and enjoy an ice-cold Coca-Cola or other beverage of your choice! You earned it. Bon dia!

Altoids Survival Kit: Aruba v1.0

There are a number of very creative survival kits out there, some of them packed into an Altoids Mints tin. I decided to make my own version, specifically designed for use on the island of Aruba. Check out the video:

Surely that little kit will come in handy. Make your own and customize it for your needs. You never know when you’ll need one of those items! Bon dia.

Eataly food truck, Aruba, DWI

Eataly food truck serves some of your Italian favorites. They’re located at the “Texaco Traffic Circle” in the parking lot of the Eagle Bowling Alley/Hipz fitness club. Plenty of parking there. They open around 8:00 PM, but best to go a little later after they have things set up and ready.

I enjoyed the pork sandwich which was very tasty but needed a bit more meat inside to make it a better value and hearty sandwich. Here’s a look at the main ingredient:

There is a connection between this truck and Gianni’s Restaurant near the hotel area. At any rate, if you’re in the mood for an evening snack or meal, this may be the place for you. Enjoy!
