Savaneta Beach, Aruba

The little beach in Savaneta, Aruba, may be tiny compared to Palm and Eagle Beaches, but you can have it mostly to yourself. During the week, especially from about 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon, you won’t find but a few people here. At least I never do. Once in a while you’ll see a guy bait fishing with a hand net or a diver going in from shore. Otherwise, it’s you and the breeze. So here’s a video:

Imagine yourself there. Bring a cooler, some sunscreen, and kick back for the real desert island experience. Bon dia from the island.

Aruba’s Flying Fishbone

The Flying Fishbone is a venerable restaurant to be found in Saventa, Aruba, DWI. More than that, it offers a romantic setting with tables on the beach and even in the Caribbean sea if that is your choice. Here you can watch the sunset while enjoying a fine dining experience. Having been here several times, I can say it’s worth it. Hence, I made a video showing the restaurant as well as how to drive there from the main highway. It’s easy. Take a look:

Keep the Flying Fishbone in mind for a special evening out or a fantastic gathering with family and friends. Don’t forget to check when the sunsets and arrive about half an hour earlier. Bring the camera!

Bon dia.

Sunrise at Baby Beach

When it’s cold outside and you’re feeling a little blue, or maybe just need a recharge from the Caribbean dawn, take a look at this video of the rising sun at Aruba’s Baby Beach.

Yeah, that’ll do it. Bon dia from Aruba.

Rum Reef Aruba

Rum Reef Aruba is located where the old Esso club used to be between Baby and Rodgers Beaches, at the southern tip of the island.

You can’t miss the place as you drive down the lane toward the ocean. There’s a welcoming bar, covered seating, and friendly people to serve you the beverages and snacks of your choice.

JADS dive shop is adjacent to the place, too. Here you can launch diving adventure, get snorkle equipment, and check in with the professionals who know what they’re doing. On the other side of Rum Reef, you’ll find a gift shop featuring local crafts.

There’s also a little store for those forgotten essentials.

All this convenient to your visit to/from Baby Beach. Enjoy roaming about the island and don’t forget to check out these kinds of places. More often that not, you’ll have a great experience that you might have otherwise missed.

Bon dia.
