Stopped into a Bavaria Restaurant near Palm Beach, Aruba, DWI for a tasty Weihenstephaner. Bavaria is a great place for all sorts of German beer and food. Continuing with the series of iPhone 6 videos, here’s a quick look at Baby Beach, located near the southern end of the island of Aruba.
This video was made on a quiet, weekday morning. As you can see, no one around. If you want to enjoy a nice swim in tranquil waters, head there early. Afterward, stop in to Charlie’s Bar for a cold drink or New Pueblito Paisa for a hearty lunch, both in San Nicolaas. I’ll post more about those places soon.

The app I purchased for making video with the iPhone 6 is proving a little challenging. However, I’ll keep working with it and post more results here at The Bent Page.
So, I’ve been trying some things out with my iPhone 6, including a video app. Decided it would be instructive and fun to make a few little clips around Aruba. Here’s the first one, “Mangel Alto Morning.”
Save that view for January (if you’re in the northern hemisphere of planet earth). It will surely thaw your bones then. This is a great place to snorkel and just enjoy the Caribbean. Check out other posts on my blog for more Aruba stuff.
