:30 Chicken Shoarma Platter (Aruba)

I’ve posted about Sultan restaurant in Aruba several times before. This place has been very consistent over the years. Furthermore, in keeping with my shorter videos, I made this :30 one showing you my favorite dish, the chicken shoarma platter.

I’ve heard this place will be under new ownership soon, but with the same kitchen staff. If there are any major changes, I’ll update with another video, hopefully with an interview to gain some insight. Bon dia.

4 minute flight to Aruba

Want to fly to Aruba? Well, join me on this two-legged flight from Philadelphia International Airport, with a stop in Miami, landing in Aruba. You’ll be there in less than four minutes. Here’s the video to prove it.

Both flights were excellent. Cheerful cabin staff, good food, great landings, all you need to have a pleasant trip. My thanks to American Airlines for getting me there safely, on time, and in style. Bon dia!

Private Air Transport

Private air transport takes you from closer to where you are to closer to where you want to be. As you see in the photo of this beautiful King Air twin turboprop, you can begin your journey at a small airport.

Similarly, you can touch down at another small strip near your destination. Remember, these small airports are usually hassle free, staffed by friendly people, and provide a welcome alternative to the aggravation giant terminals of commercial travel. It’s not cheap to fly private, but worth every penny.

Classic Diner (January 2014)

The Classic Diner in Malvern, PA, USA, is a favorite stop of mine. Breakfast and lunch here is a delicious feast at a reasonable price with great service. Make sure you are HUNGRY before you get here because the portions are large. I might also add, they use the best ingredients. So let’s start healthy, with a spinach salad that you see here:

That’s a beautiful salad, no doubt about it. And dig the lox on the side with capers, eh? Nice. For those who really need to fill up, try the cheeseburger with a side of onion rings that you see next:

That, my friends, is one good burger. The onion rings… crispy and sweet, the way you like them. Again, service is exceptional here and prices are reasonable. Be advised, the place gets BUSY, so go slightly off peak breakfast and lunch times. Enjoy every meal.
