Aruba is known as “One Happy Island.” There’s also a number of other happily named places on the island, such as this small Chinese operated bar/restaurant/pool hall, known as the “Double Happy.” Here’s a short video:
Friends gather several nights a week to shoot pool, have some drinks, laugh, and enjoy the fun. This place is located at the south end of San Nicolaas. Bon dia.
Here’s a quick look at Aruba’s Arashi Beach. It’s a small beach, located near the northwest end of the island. As you’ll see in this video, they have barriers set up to mark the turtle egg-laying areas. Check it out:

Well, it was time for another video on the Colombian platter known as the bandeja paisa. This is a plate with a piece of just about everything, served hot and fresh at my favorite Colombian join in Aruba, Casa Vieja. And here’s the video:
Any terms you don’t know are easily found on Google. Just remember, if you’re going to eat one of those platters, you might need a nap or to at least take it easy for while. That’s a lot of food. Enjoy every meal, especially in Aruba. Bon dia.
While out making some video, I spotted this inbound tanker off the coast of Savaneta, Aruba.

There’s actually quite a bit of ship traffic in the seas around Aruba. In the evening, you can look out and see the ship lights out there. And during the day, if you go atop the Casi Bari rocks, you can see them as well. I’m sure the crews would like to take a break on the island.
