Aruba Airport Arrival Tips, video

Your arrival at the Queen Beatrix Airport in Aruba is generally easy. You’ll deplane, walk through the terminal, show your passport at immigration, and then collect your luggage. Once you exit the secure area, this video will show you where to find cell phone rentals, taxis, transfer buses, and rental cars. Check it out, especially that plane landing and the rope swing into the Caribbean at the end.

Hopefully, this video will help you navigate those first few minutes after you arrive and get you off to a great start enjoying all that Aruba has to offer. Bon dia.

Scott’s Brats, Aruba

Palm Beach, Aruba, offers a long stretch of warm sand, blue water, and plenty of sunshine. Now, there’s Scott’s Brats, a snack stand serving up Wisconsin-style brats among other things. Here’s my interview with the owner and a look at the food:

Leslie and Scott are doing well at that great location near the Playa Linda. With breakfast and lunch right there on the beach, you hardly have to leave until the sun goes down. Enjoy your stay in Aruba and all it has to offer.

Aruba Bob Snorkeling, video

You won’t meet a guy more friendly than Kent, better known as Aruba Bob. He’s been snorkeling around the island for more than 15 years and takes you on a personal tour through the water. Here’s my interview with him, including a look at some of the sea life you’ll see on one of his adventures.

Those “water scooters” make the snorkeling trip at Mangel Halto twice the fun. You can relax and soar along atop the sea while checking out the sea life. Given the small groups and personalized nature of the snorkel adventure with Kent and his friend, Stuart, you’re bound to have the best time. Enjoy the ocean responsibly.
